Zeljko Obradovic, should I stay or should I go?
Big dilemma for Zeljko Obradovic or maybe it is not? Very different rumors comes in last two days from different sources in Greece and Serbia.
According to some rumors Zeljko Obradovic should sign new two-year contract with Panathinaikos and continue with his current club for new trophies.
On the other hand, after Game 4 in Greek finals where Panathinaikos tied series to 2:2, Zeljko Obradovic said at Press conference that probably this was his last game in OAKA.
After that he continues and even said that Saturday’s Game 5 will probably be his last game in Greece. I am sure that it is not necessary to say how shocked was Panathinaikos fans after these statements.
Since 1999, Zeljko Obradovic won 5 Euroleague titles, 11 titles in Greek Championship and 7 titles in Greek National Cup.
It seems that Zeljko Obradovic is quite disappointed as he said that nothing depends on him. He said: “It is not up tp me, it was never question if I would like to stay. Result in last game is not important, however we had great season.”
Zeljko Obradovic continues: “Is it normal for coach to stay in one club 13 years? Alex Ferguson is 25 years in same club, and I would like to stay here 36 years, but…”
