As it was expected, after two consecutive defeats at the beginning of the ABA Adriatic league, Crvena Zvezda Diva made some cuts.

Of course, when things not going as good as it was expected, first on the cut list is coach. Milivoje Lazic is not coach of Crvena Zvezda Diva anymore.

Vlada Vukoicic is new coach, and will be promoted tomorrow at press conference. Vlada Vukoicic is currently Assistant coach of National team of Serbia.

Last season he coached Mega Vizura in Serbian league, and as he stated today, this will be great honor for him to coach Crvena Zvezda Diva.

Vlada Vukoicic said: “I know very well what is expected from coach in this club. This is great challenge against opponents but also challenge against itself.”

He continues: “At this moment, the most important thing is to meet players, all their capacities, and to do everything we can to wake-up team.”

In his coaching career, Vlada Vukocic coached several teams: FMP, Hemofarm, Oostende, Bosna Sarajevo and Mega Vizura.

It will be very interesting to see what will happen in following days and weeks with Crvena Zvezda Diva. Expensive roster, created to attack trophies in all competitions, had a terrible start in ABA Adriatic league with two consecutive losses.

Eurocup season will start soon, and Crvena Zvezda Diva is one of the team who will compete in this competition. We will see if this change will help team.

Let’s get back to Milivoje Lazic, already ex-coach of Crvena Zvezda Diva. Even before of the start of this season in ABA Adriatic league, there were a lot of discussions in Serbia if Milivoje Lazic is good choice for this position.

Young coach, without much experience as Head coach, if you ask me, definitely wrong decision to point him as a Head coach in team with pretty high goals in this season.

So, it is first case in ABA Adriatic league this season, Crvena Zvezda Diva is first team that switched coaches, and it happened just after two games.

If you ask me, I expect another one team to switch coaches soon, maybe even after next game if they not succeed. We will see.
