Today, Ramunas Siskauskas announced his retirement from professional Basketball. As Euroleague wrote on their website: “One of the Euroleague’s greatest players and gentlemen this century.”

This is great that he crowned his decision with 10th consecutive Russian League title just several days ago. Great player deserves this.

Siskauskas said: “It was not a sudden decision,” Siskauskas told CSKA’s official website on Monday. “I made my choice in the middle of the season. It was not connected with anything specific – I just feel I should stop.”

This is the moment when athlete just feel that it was enough. Siskauskas who is 33 years old, is not that old for professional sport, bet ut seems that he feels that it is the right moment to stop.

And as he also said: “Everything I wanted was to play the highest level, and my dream came true.”
