Announced by Turkish Airlines Euroleague as “Game of the week 4”, Partizan mt:s will host one of the most successful European Basketball clubs, Real Madrid at Thursday, November 10 in Belgrade.

This will be 16th game between those two teams and Partizan mt:s won only once. This information tells a lot about Partizan mt:s next opponent.

But beside this Partizan mt:s is ready for Thursday’s clash in Pionir sport hall. Of course, hall will be packed with Partizan mt:s fans like at every Euroleague’s game.

Vlada Jovanovic coach of Partizan mt:s said that his team waiting for another one game, he doesn’t want to add extra pressure on his players because Partizan mt:s won only once against Real Madrid.

He also added: ” Real Madrid played at Final 4 last season and in meantime they got few experienced players and strenghten their roster. They run well and play very good in all segments. We must to do our maximum in this game even over limits and try to step-up in our game. We must stay focused all 40 minutes.”

Everyone agrees that Nikola Pekovic is a key player of Partizan mt:s in this game. Of course not only in this game. The most dominant center in Euroleague for sure at this moment. Partizan mt:s will try to use his potential in this game but it will be very important to see if other players will be able to follow him, offensively at first.

If we talk about defense, Partizan mt:s could have large problem to stop Real Madrid’s shooters and if they succeed in this goal game will be open till the end.

If Miroslav Raduljica, Milan Macvan and even Rasko Katic help Nikola Pekovic fighting under baskets and with rebounds it will open fast break situations and some easy points for Partizan mt:s. It is also important to switch fast in transition. Hopefully 3 points shot will be ok.

Really looking forward to watch this game at Thursday. Even it is hard to believe that Black and Whites will beat Real Madrid, last two games that Partizan mt:s played and won against Cibona (ABA Adriatic league) and Belgacom Spirou (Euroleague) give some hope.
