Minnesota Timberwolves topped New Jersey Nets 108:105 on Friday Night. Great game in Prudential Center.

Nikola Pekovic had his NBA career high with 27 points and 11 rebounds, and all this in 34 minutes on the court.

One of my favorite players from Europe, and I was sure when he left to United States to play in NBA, that this guy will have outstanding career.

I may say that it is still beginning of Pekovic NBA career, but he already added some significant impacts.

3 double-double scores in this season shows that Pekovic is one of the players that he just needed a small chance to prove its enormous potential.

Minnesota Timberwolves coach, Rick Adelman said: “The most impressive is that he exactly knows what he can do. He knows what are his the best options, and he use them. We count on him very seriously.”

I would just add: “Of course that you should count on him, he will just demonstrate his power in coming games, just give him a chance.”

Pekovic says: “I just tried to play my game, something that I am doing all my life. I am trying to use any chance I get, and I am not thinking too much. I just want to play.”

His teammate, Ricky Rubio said after this game: “Pekovic played amazingly, he is such a strong guy, you have no idea. He saved me couple of time today to avoid turnover. Beside all, he is smart player, he knows how to play, and he was key for this win.”
