As it is confirmed on official website of Cibona Zagreb, Neven Spahija is new coach. Cibona and Spahija agreed terms and coach signed 4-year deal.

Neven Spahija coached Cibona 12 years ago, and this is his return to Croatian Powerhouse. Cibona had pretty successful season as they wins Croatian Cup and Croatian Championship in this season.

Despite all problems they had at the beginning of the season and pretty bad results in ABA Adriatic league, finally they may be satisfied how this season finished.

In next period Cibona have high goals and it is one of reasons why Neven Spahija is back. In club, they believe that Spahija is right person at this moment.

In his career, Neven Spahija coached many teams, Cibona, Krka, Roseto, Lietuvos Rytas, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Tau Baskonia, Valencia Basket, Fenerbahce Ulker.

Neven Spahija was coach of National team of Croatia from 2002 to 2005. He was one of candidates again to lead Croatian National team to EuroBasket 2013 in Slovenia, but Jasmin Repesa remained as Head coach of National team of Croatia.
