Rumors that we heard in last several days about Andrei Kirilenko and NBA league are officially confirmed few hours ago.
It wasn’t an easy task for Minnesota Timberwolves as they needed to clear some space under salary cap for Kirilenko.
Three team trade with Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Hornets helped Minnesota to sign Andrei Kirilenko for according to some rumors $20 million deal.
Because of NBA lockout in last season, Kirilenko as the many other players from NBA moved to Europe and had great season with CSKA Moscow where he averaged 14.1 points and 7.5 rebounds in Turkish Airlines Euroleague.
During his NBA career, Andrei Kirilenko averaged 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game, as he spent whole his NBA career with Utah Jazz.
Kirilenko said: “I’m excited to be returning to the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves, as they have one of the best coaches in the league in Rick Adelman and I feel my game fits in well with his style of play.
He also added: “I also like the talent that Minnesota has on the team with star players like Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio.”
