After numerous rumors about Milan Macvan and his career, it is confirmed that Serbian player will continue his career in Turkey, as he signed 2-year deal with Galatasaray Medical Park.

Milan Macvan was lonaed in last season from Maccabi Electra to Partizan mt:s and was one of the most valuable players in Serbian champion.

Some rumors even few months ago said that Milan Macvan will try to break his contract with Maccabi Electra and find new club.

His agent, Goran Savic also confirmed that Galatasary paid 250.000 Euros to Maccabi Electra, so Macvan was free to sign with Turkish team.

In his career, Milan Macvan played for Hemofarm, FMP, Partizan mt:s and Maccabi Electra. At this moment he is with National team of Serbia as they getting ready for Qualifications for EuroBasket 2013 in Slovenia.

Milan Macvan will join his new team after Qualifications for EuroBasket 2013 and I must say too bad that he will play in Eurocup competition instead of Turkish Airlines Euroleague.

Basketball fans in Serbia are pretty divided if this move for Milan Macvan will be step forward or backward in his career.

Of course, it would be the best possible option if he could stay with Partizan mt:s, but this option wasn’t realistic.
