Milan Macvan led Partizan mt:s to another one win
Duel of two teams from the top in ABA Adriatic league brought good game as it was expected. In not so crowded Pionir Arena in Belgrade, Partizan mt:s hosted Cedevita and won 67:63 (19:12, 10:24, 19:15, 19:12).
Interesting game, with a lot of attractive moves, transitions, good defense. Partizan mt:s played better in first quarter and they won this quarter with 19:12.
In second quarter, much better game for Cedevita and with combined defense they outplayed Partizan mt:s in this quarter with 10:24.
Third quarter started better for Partizan mt:s and actually we may say that it was good game for both teams in this third quarter. Cedevita finished third quarter with +3, 48:51. Partizan won in this quarter with 19:15.
Real Men’s game in last quarter, more physical. Cedevita had a lot of complaints on referees, but it is normal in ABA Adriatic league almost during whole season.
Honestly, there were some strange decisions. Partizan mt:s finally got better support from their fans in this game, and they gave them some more additional energy.
Finally, 50 seconds before the end of the game, coach Drazen Anzulovic got technical foul after arguing with referees. With this stupid move, he just gave this win to Partizan mt:s. +5 should be enough for Partizan mt:s to win in this game.
But, in next offense, Christopher Warren scored 3-pointer for Cedevita, and it was only +2 for Partizan mt:s. 20 seconds to go, Danilo Andjusic scored 2/2 from free-throw line, +4 for Partizan mt:s again.
What a mess in last offense for Cedevita, first they missed 3-point shot, and another one, and Partizan mt:s won. Finally, 67:63. Quite interesting game, maybe not interested as I expected.
Drazen Anzulovic lost this game with stupid technical foul just 50 seconds before the end of game. Well done coach.
For Partizan mt:s, Milan Macvan scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Miroslav Raduljica scored 14 points.
For Cedevita, Christopher Owens and Christopher Warren scored 11 points each, Matjaz Smodis added 10 points.
