As we already wrote, in first semifinal game, Lithuania topped Serbia and qualified to Finals where they will meet France.

France wins over Spain in second semifinal game yesterday with final score 66:59, by quarters 15-16, 16-15, 13-16, 15-19.

So, even most of us expected too see Serbia in Final game after fantastic winning streak of seven wins and without loss until Semifinals, it won’t happen.

Lithuania were better yesterday and deserved to play Gold medal game today. In this second semifinal game, pretty same game, point for point, ups and downs.

France deserves this win with bit better defense, and as usual in games like this, small details decided winners.

I am glad to see France in Final game because of Leo Westermann who signed contract with Partizan mt:s, and it seems that this young guy will be of big help to Serbian Champions.

It is hard to say what we may expect in today’s games, first at 18.00 CET Bronze medal game and finally at 20.30 CET Gold medal game.

It will interesting to see if Serbia or Spain will have enough concentration to win at least Bronze medal on this Championship.

As a coach, I know very well how hard is to motivate team for Bronze medal game, everyone expected Final, so it is always tough goal to motivate team.

Coach who succeed in this will win Bronze medal today. It is totally different situation for Gold medal game, no need for additional stimulation, both teams wants Gold and I am sure that we will enjoy in this game.
