So, it is time for Qualifications for EuroBasket 2013 in Slovenia. National team of Serbia did pretty good job in preparation phase.

They showed good form in most of testing games they played, even Coach Dusan Ivkovic wasn’t fully satisfied with some details.

Coach Dusan Ivkovic made decision who will travel to Iceland where Serbia will play opener of Qualifications.

Ivkovic decided to cut Mile Ilic and Danilo Andjusic, but as he said they will remain as candidates for other games.

12 players who will represent Serbia in this first game are: Milos Teodosic, Milenko Tepic, Aleksandar Rasic, Ivan Paunic, Nemanja Bjelica, Dusko Savanovic, Marko Keselj, Milan Macvan, Dejan Musli, Nemanja Nedovic, Vladimir Stimac and Vladimir Lucic.

Problems with injured players are still obvious so team captain Nenad Krstic will not be in roster for this game same as Zoran Erceg. Even there were a good news about Nenad krstic recovery and that he is 100% recovered, Coach Dusan Ivkovic don’t want to risk.

There will be more important games for Serbian national team, so hopefully Krstic and Erceg will be ready for these games.

Game against Iceland will be played tomorrow, August 14 in Reykjavik, Iceland.
