Giorgi Shermadini signed with Maccabi Electra
Maccabi Electra signed Giorgi Shermadini for one year contract with option to extend this deal until the end of the 2013-14 season.
Shermadini was born in Georgia and grew up with Maccabi Tbilisi. He joined Panathinaikos at 2008, but after two years he was loaned to Union Olimpija in Slovenia.
After Union Olimpija, he went to Italy and signed with Bennet Cantu. With Panathinaikos he won two Greek league titles and one Greek National cup.
With Union Olimpija he won Slovenian National cup. At EuroBasket 2011 as member of National team of Georgia, he averaged 4.4 points and 4.4 rebounds.
At this moment, BC Khimki is the most busiest team in Europe, since they have already signed four new players. It is very interesting and very exciting to see what following days will bring.
I am sure that there will be more and more new signings in next period.
