According to different sources, Ettore Messina, currently Assistant coach in Los Angeles Lakers in NBA league, could be back in Europe from next season.

52 years-old Italian coach got offer for contract from Fenerbahce Ulker after pretty disappointing season for Turkish team.

Fenerbahce Ulker even started this season with large ambitions in Turkish Airlines Euroleague and domestic league failed on both fields.

They haven’t even reach Final four phases in both competitions and it was alarm for board of club. Changes was expected.

According to news from United States, coach Ettore Messina stated that he would like to coach again as Head coach. It is quite sure that he won’t get Head coaching position in NBA so he would probably be back in Europe.

After several rumors previously that Fenerbahce Ulker is interested in Serbian coaches, Dusan Ivkovic, Zeljko Obradovic and Dusko Vujosevic, it seems that Ettore Messina is the most serious candidate as they sent concrete offer to him.
