Last night Game 2 of Eurocup Quarterfinals were played. Now we know all 4 teams who will compete in Eurocup Final 4 in Treviso, Italy, April 16-17.

NLB league contestant, Cedevita Zagreb qualified for the EuroCup Final 4 in Treviso. Italy to play with Russian Unics Kazan, Bwin Benetton from Italy and Spanish Cajasol Sevilla.

Cedevita had prepared the biggest surprise in the quarterfinals because they eliminated the Spanish Asefa Estudiantes with 81:72 in Madrid in front of 14,000 home fans.

Unics Kazan at home defeated Pepsi Caserta 79-77, while the Cajasol Sevilla passed on, despite losing to Budivelnik in Ukraine from 80-77. Bwin Benetton was convincing against the Göttingen 84:62.

In the Final Four semifinals will meet: Unics Kazan – Cedevita Zagreb and Bwin Benetton – Cajasol Sevilla.

Great game by Cedevita Zagreb in Madrid in crowded Estudiantes Arena. Now, I am very glad that Coach Aco Petrovic remained as a Head coach of BC Cedevita Zagreb. As you probably know, Coach Petrovic resigned from Cedevita bench after loss in Croatian National Cup semifinals. Two days later he agreed to keep coaching Cedevita and it seems it was a good decision. Good luck in Final 4.
