Eurocup last 16 will continue today with Game 5
After one week brake due to National Cup competitions were played around the Europe, today this competition will continue with Game 5.
Situation is very interesting, since we still waiting for 7 teams to fill empty spots for next round. Valencia Basket already booked its ticket for Quarterfinals.
Valencia Basket qualified with superb score of 4:0 in Group I. Even they have identical score, Spartak St. Petersburg still waiting for its chance.
Spartak St. Petersburg will host Buducnost Voli in “Game of the week” in Group K, and if Spartak win, they will be sure for Quarter finals. If not, we will know much more next week, in Game 6.
Today games will bring a lot of excitements to fans all around the Europe. Several very good teams, made Eurocup competition very popular this season, beside Turkish Airlines Euroleague as well.
In this stage of competition, three teams are winless, pretty unexpected Alba Berlin had no success in last 4 games, same as Krka Novo Mesto and BCM Gravelines.
Bc Donetsk and BC Khimki have a tough goal in Group J, both teams have score of 3 wins and 1 loss. It will be very interesting until the last game next week.
Another interesting situation is in Group L where Lietuvos Rytas and Benetton Basket have identical score of 3 wins and 1 loss, and Lokomotiv Kuban still have some slight chances with 2-2 score.
