Much better Basketball in second semifinal game even I expected much more from Radnicki, at least in first half.

Fantastic atmosphere in crowded Jezero Sport hall in Kragujevac, about 4.000 fans came to watch this game and support its clubs.

After first 10 minutes, Crvena Zvezda Telekom had +8, 25-17. Much better game for Red and whites, despite all we epxected hard fight with Radnicki.

Obviously, players of Radnicki were under pressure since they are hosts for Radivoj Korac Cuo, and they were hoping for this title.

Second quarter was pretty same as the first one, with a lot of ups and down on both sides. Crvena Zvezda Telekom better, but in some moments pretty confused, as they allowed Radnicki to stay in game.

After 20 minutes, Crvena Zvezda Telekom had +15, 44-29, and I believe that Red and whites easily could have +20, if they just could avoid some stupid mistakes in last 5 minutes.

Coach Miroslav Nikolic had to fix many problems in game and I was looking forward to see second half. I was hoping that Radnicki will find some additional energy and motivation.

1-7 for 3-point was probably the biggest problems for Radnicki in first 20 minutes. They are team who compose their game a lot on 3-point shot.

Coach Vlada Vukoicic was probably satisfied with some elements of game in first 20 minutes, and I believe that the most important things was to explain to its players that there were 20 minutes more to play.

Second half started in much higher rhythm, better defenses and fast players on both sides. Red and whites still played better, even in some moments Radnicki showed that they have more to say in this game.

Radnicki won third quarter with 25-23, and result after 30 minutes was 67-54 for Crvena Zvezda Telekom.

Furious start for Crvena Zvezda Telekom in last quarter and they came to +23, 79-56 after three minutes. Game was over in that moment.

Players of Radnicki looked lost and disappointed, same as coach Miroslav Nikolic. In next minutes it was just a question, what will be the final score in this game.

Demolition continues in following minutes, and it wasn’t interesting to watch last several minutes. Players of Radnicki just gave up of this game.

There are several reasons for such defeat for Radnicki. First, and the most important, terrible 3-point percentage, 2-17, 12%.

Second, Aleksandar Capin, one of the best players in Radnicki in ABA Adriatic league, scored only 6 points in 26 minutes, 0-3 for 3-point.

Third, rebounds. Crvena Zvezda Telekom dominated in this segment with 41-28.

Igor Rakocevic led Red and whites with 21 points and 5 assists, Bojan Subotic scored 15 points and Boris Savovic added 11 and 7 rebounds.

Tomorrow, at 21.00 CET, Final game in Radivoj Korac Cup, derby between Partizan mt:s and Crvena Zvezda Telekom. All we hope so for great spectacle, interesting and exciting game.

Chances are not 50-50 if you ask me, I would say 60-40 for Crvena Zvezda Telekom, but many times proved that my predictions wasn’t good.
