According to Serbian sources, Crvena Zvezda Diva paid debts they had to Head coach Svetislav Pesic. It is now on Svetislav Pesic to make decision.

As we already wrote several times about situation in Crvena Zvezda Diva, this saga could come to end soon, as Red and whites paid debts. As it seems, those debts were the biggest problem in negotiations.

Svetislav Pesic who is still under contract with Crvena Zvezda Diva, must decide if he will remain as Head coach of Crvena Zvezda Diva or not.

He is currently with German National team, and just few days ago he stated to German media that he would like to continue with Crvena Zvezda Diva but don’t know how to find time.

Nebojsa Covic, president of Crvena Zvezda Diva said: “We paid debts according to agreements with Svetislav Pesic, even before deadline.”

He continues: “Now we expect that Svetislav Pesic cancel appeal to FIBA, since we paid debts. This should be next step in negotiations.”

The rest of debts should be paid until end of August as it was agreed before. According to Nebojsa Covic, it is not that large amount.

I am really interested to see what Svetislav Pesic will decide. It is obvious that he created some negative energy in between fans who are divided if Pesic should remain as Head coach or not.

Svetislav Pesic should be a long-term solution for Crvena Zvezda Diva, and now after they paid debts (or most of debts), situation should be clear. But, lets wait for official answer from Svetislav Pesic.
