Cedevita stopped Igokea’s winning streak in Game 7
Three-pointer of Bracey Wright one second before end of this game, brought win to Cedevita Zagreb and first defeat for Igokea.
After six consecutive wins, time has come for Igokea to lose first game in this season of ABA Adriatic league.
Even Igokea played very good, and had pretty good chances to stay undefeated, I may say that lack of concentration in last seconds of this game, gave this win to Cedevita.
The true is that Bracey Wright scored that 3-pointer over defense, Milan Dozet had his hand on the shot, but Wright scored.
Cedevita zagreb improved to 5-2 score with this win, even I was hoping that Igokea will win. Igokea dropped to 6-1 score and will remain at the top in ABA Adriatic league standings.
Predrag Suput led Cedevita Zagreb with 17 points, 5 rebounds. Luksa Andric scored 12 points and Mickeal Gelabale added 10 points.
Corsley Edwards had another one great role for Igokea as he scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Clifford Hammonds scored 14 points and Branko Jorovic and Sinisa Stemberger added 12 points each.
It will be interesting to see how this loss will affect Igokea, since some of people predicted that Igokea will go down, and believe that they cannot stay in top form long period.
Hopefully, this won’t happen. We could see from previous game, that team of coach Dragan Bajic have strong spirit, a lot of self-confidence and there shouldn’t be any problems.
