With this dunk, Brittney Griner became second woman to dunk in an NCAA tournament game. Candace Parker of Tennessee dunked twice in an NCAA tournament game in 2006 against Army.

In his career, Brittney Griner dunked six times, and she is just one short of Candace Parker’s record.

6-foot-8 junior finished game with 25 points, and Odyssey Sims added 14 points for Baylor. Azania Stewart scored 14 points for Florida.

After game, Brittney Griner said: “I think my team got fired up a little bit more than me. I got a little bit more fired up, I think, on one of the blocks I had. But it definitely felt good throwing it down.”
