This is really wonderful as Anthony Morrow will pay tribute to Drazen Petrovic at the Three-Point Contest at 2012 NBA All-Star Weekend in Orlando.

Drazen Petrovic died in car accident but he left large impression in New Jersey Nets and whole NBA league. Petrovic was a Net for about two and a half seasons.

His jersey with number 3 is retired, and it is one of five retired in New Jersey Nets. During his time with Nets, Drazen Petrovic had average with more than 20 points per game.

Drazen Petrovic enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame posthumously.

Anthony Morrow got this wonderful idea when he saw Petrovic’s jersey hanging in Nets Arena. After he saw documentary “Once Brothers” and he definitely decided to honor late superhero.

As I said this is really great idea, since I believe that in Europe he is quite forgotten, even after all good things he did on the Basketball court.

Yes, there are some monuments in Croatia, in his born town Sibenik, and as well in Zagreb, but I believe that Drazen deserved much more.

All we who remember late Drazen Petrovic will never forget all his games, for Sibenka, Cibona, Real Madrid, Portland Trailblazers, New Jersey Nets. Top class player and one of the best players in Europe ever.

Finally, I would like to say: “Thank you Anthony Morrow for such brilliant idea to pay tribute to Drazen Petrovic, thank you.”
