Adriatic NLB league, Krka, Union Olimpija and Partizan qualified for the F4

First it was Krka, Union Olimpija followed it on Tuesday and a day later the third club was known Partizan m:ts. The three clubs mentioned already guaranteed a spot at the 10th NLB League Final Four Tournament, which will be held in Ljubljana between April 19th and 21st, while the fourth member will be either Zagreb Co or Budu?nost, depends how both of them will play in the last two rounds of the regular season.

After the 24th round, played on Tuesday and Wednesday, Zagreb has a slight advantage. With the celebration against Budu?nost on the road it is one victory ahead of its direct opponent for the F4 but plays Nymburk and Crvena zvezda in the next few days. Nymburk too will meet also Budu?nost, which will first have to skip Cibona on Saturday to keep its hopes alive. But whoever will be the fourth team to qualify for the final tournament, will be a new face on the stage. Neither Budu?nost nor Zagreb CO still haven’t participate at the final event, held in the regional league since 2002. Budu?nost only played the elimination round in 2008 but was defeated by Hemofarm Stada in the quarter-final.

Union Olimpija confirmed its promotion with the victory against Nymburk on Tuesday while Partizan sealed it a day later with the celebration against Zadar, which shares the last spot on the standings with Crvena zvezda.
