Adriatic League, Regular Season, Game 25: March 11-13, 2011

Partizan shot up to first place in the Adriatic League standings by overtaking previous leader Krka with a road win. Both teams now have 17-8 records, but the defending champs are in first place due to a tiebreaker. Union Olimpija missed a chance to join them for a three-way tie when it lost at Crvena Zvezda. Partizan, Krka and Olimpija have already clinched their spots in next month’s Adriatic League final four and will be joined by either Buducnost or Zagreb. Partizan bested Krka 62-72 behind 18 points from Curtis Jerrells and 17 from Dusan Kecman. Krka took its only lead, 40-38, midway through the third quarter, but Jerrells fueled a 2-13 response as Partizan took control for good. Krka closed to within 6 in the fourth, but Partizan had the answers. Chris Booker led Krka with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Crvena Zvezda blew out Olimpija 92-70 as Ricardo Marsh shined with 30 points.
