ABA Adriatic league 2013-14, Game 6 recap

Even after six played games, Union Olimpija is still the only one team without any single win in 2013-14 ABA Adriatic league regular season. Terrible and shameful start of season for Union Olimpija as they are the biggest negative surprise so far.
Partizan NIS and Cedevita are at the top of standings after six played games with great 5-1 record. So far, these two teams demonstrated a lot of good things and remains as the most serious candidates for title.
At the bottom, beside terrible Union Olimpija, there are three other teams with not so bad 2-4 record, but still at the bottom. It is obvious that this fight to escape from the bottom of the standings will be very exciting.
Szolnoki Olaj – Radnicki 101-92
The biggest surprise of this week is that Szolnoki Olaj wins over Radnicki Kragujevac at home 101-92. Most of us expected that Radnicki could have pretty easy task and continue with good results, but Szolnoki Olaj had different ideas. With this win, Szolnoki Olaj improved to 3-3 record, as Radnicki dropped to 3-3.
Igokea – Union Olimpija 74-61
Igokea successfully defended its home court about Union Olimpija. When we see terrible record of Union Olimpija, actually it was more than expected result. Good news for Igokea that it seems that team finally woke-up, and we may expect more from them. Igokea improved to 3-3 record, since Union Olimpija dropped to 0-6.
Cedevita – Siroki Primorka 85-76
Cedevita continued with good games and obviously they forgot last week defeat against Cibona. Siroki Primorka had no much chances against pretty good team, Cedevita. Cedevita improved to 5-1 record and they share first position with Partizan NIS. Siroki Primorka dropped to 2-4 and will keep struggling in this season.
Mega Vizura – MZT Skopje 101-82
Mega Vizura despite young and not so experienced team, grabbed its third consecutive win. This time they wins over MZT Skopje and imporved its score to 3-3. MZT Skopje dropped to 2-4 record. Great run for Mega Vizura as we hope so that they will continue in this high rhythm.
Krka – Zadar 79-80
Another one surprise in this week, as Zadar defeated Krka on the road game. Krka was favorite in this game, but from the first second of this game, it was obvious that Zadar didn’t come to lose. Krka dropped to 3-3 record, pretty unexpectedly, since Zadar improved to 2-4 record.
Partizan NIS – Cibona 80-71
In Game of the week, Partizan NIS had no much problems against Cibona in Belgrade. All we expected more drama in this clash. Partizan NIS even without Tarence Kinsey, proved its quality. With this win, Partizan NIS improved to 5-1 record and stay at the top of ABA Adriatic league. Cibona dropped to 3-3 record.
Buducnost VOLI – Crvena Zvezda Telekom 62-60
Expected to be another one great game, clash between Buducnost VOLI and Crvena Zvezda Telekom actually brought pretty boring game, full of turnovers and bad moments. Finally, in real drama at the end of game, Buducnost VOLI wins and improved to 4-2 record. Crvena Zvezda Telekom disappointed its fans and dropped to 4-2.
