aba adriatic league

After two played games in 2013-14 ABA Adriatic league season, three teams are still undefeated, Cedevita, Radnicki Kragujevac and Partizan NIS.

At same time, three teams are still winless, Igokea, Mega Vizura and Union Olimpija. The rest of teams, have score 1-1.

Szolnoki Olaj – MZT SKopje 81-69

Unexpectedly, Szolnoki Olaj surprised MZT Skopje as they wins with 81-69. After MZT Skopje topped Union Olimpija in Game 1, everyone expected that they should win over Szolnoki Olaj as well. But, coach Nedeljko Asceric prepared its players as they played very good game to reach its first win in competition.

Radnicki – Siroki Primorka 75-55

Another one great game for Radnicki as they showed superb performances once again in ABA Adriatic league. After great win over Cibona in Game 1, this time, Radnicki outplayed Siroki Primorka and remained undefeated. Siroki had no chances in this game, as players of coach Miroslav Nikolic dominated in all segments.

Buducnost VOLI – Zadar 90-68

Buducnost VOLI topped Zadar and reached its first win, after defeat in Game 1 against Krka in road game. Buducnost VOLI, considered as one of teams able to reach high goals in this season, demonstrated good Basketball, and dominate over Zadar during whole game. After win in Game 1 against Szolnoki Olaj, Zadar had no enough quality to defeat Buducnost VOLI.

Cedevita – Krka 83-55

With this second straight win, Cedevita proved once again that they are one of main favorites for this season trophy in ABA Adriatic league. Great game and super win over Krka sent clear message to other teams. Krka didn’t play well, actually they play as much as Cedevita allowed them.

Partizan NIS – Mega Vizura 88-65

In not so interesting game, Partizan NIS topped Mega Vizura dominantly. Young and unexperienced team of Mega Vizura couldn’t find rhythm in this game, and it is obvious that their biggest problem in this season will be that they have no much experience in this competition. Partizan NIS remained undefeated.

Igokea – Crvena Zvezda Telekom 52-72

Big surprise and big disappointment for all Igokea fans, as Igokea played terrible game and reached its second straight defeat. Team from the top in last season, could have tough season if they not change things quickly. Crvena Zvezda Telekom, after defeat in Game 1 against Siroki Primorka, finally woke-up and demonstrated its power.

Union Olimpija – Cibona 47-74

One of the worst games so far in this season in ABA Adriatic league, as Cibona destroyed Union Olimpija. Team who played in Euroleague competition couple of years ago, scored only 2 points in last quarter. They deserved last position in ABA Adriatic league so far with 0-2 score. Cibona played well, but still with a lot of troubles and turnovers.
