Game 22 in ABA Adriatic league will start today with only one game. Three games will be played tomorrow, Saturday, February 23.

At Sunday, February 24, two more games, and finally at Monday, February 25, one game. As we coming closer to the end of regular season in ABA Adriatic league, things getting more and more exciting.

Igokea is still leader with 16-5 record. Crvena Zvezda Telekom is on the second place with 15-6 record, and this is the main fight in next 5 games to see who will be the winner of regular season.

MZT Skopje vs. Igokea

One of the most interesting games in this week. Even on position 8 at this moment, MZT Skopje with 11-10 record, still have chances for Final four.

For Igokea this game is also very important if they still have plans to finish regular season at top position and earn Euroleague in next season.

In last week, MZT Skopje wins over Cedevita in road game, and Igokea destroyed Zadar at home. So, both teams in positive atmosphere looking forward for this game.

Cibona vs. Split

Croatian derby, but also derby of teams from the bottom of ABA Adriatic league standings. Split at position 13, with 7-14 record, and Cibona at position 10 with identical 7-14 record.

Terrible season for Cibona, unexpectedly bad presentation from the beginning of the season. Split with all financial problems couldn’t expect better results so far.

In last week, Split lost against Krka at home, and Cibona in real drama, after two overtimes lost against Radnicki in road game.

Szolnoki Olaj vs. Cedevita

Clash between two teams with opposite goals in this season. Szolnoki Olaj from the start of this season struggling, and their main goal is try to escape from the bottom and save its place in ABA Adriatic league for the next season.

Cedevita, team with one of the most expensive rosters, had pretty high goals, but with several unexpected defeats currently at position 6, with 12-9 record. Still pretty close to Final four.

In Last week, Szolnoki Olaj surprised Union Olimpija at home, and Cedevita were defeated in game against very good MZT Skopje at home.

Partizan mt:s vs. Union Olimpija

Another one very interesting game, two teams with goal to qualify to Final four. Currently, Partizan mt:s at position 5 with 13-8 record, Union Olimpija at position 7 with 11-10 record.

Both teams lost in last week, Partizan mt:s were defeated by Crvena Zvezda Telekom for the second time in just few days. First they lost in Final game in Radivoj Korac Cup and than in Game 21 in ABA Adriatic league.

Union Olimpija prepared one of the biggest surprises in last week as they were defeated by Szolnoki Olaj. But if we analyze their season with so many ups and down, maybe it wasn’t such a surprise.

Krka vs. Crvena Zvezda Telekom

All we expect a lot from this game. Crvena Zvezda Telekom is favorite in this game, after all good things in last several days, when they won Radivoj Korac Cup and defeated Partizan mt:s twice in just few days.

On the other hand, Krka topped Split in road game in last week, pretty far from Final four, but I am sure that they won’t give up that easy.

Very improtant game for Crvena Zvezda Telekom. After they finished competition in Eurocup, they will focus only on ABA Adriatic league now, as they way to Euroleague in the next season.

Zadar vs. Buducnost VOLI

Zadar in very tough situation since they are at position 12 with 7-14 record, as they struggling to escape from the bottom. Buducnost VOLI in much much better situation.

Currently at position 3 with 13-8 record, Buducnost VOLI just 2 days ago qualified to Eurocup Quarterfinals. Now, they are just step away from Final four and I am sure that they will do everything to reach that goal.

In last week, Zadar suffered road game defeat against leader Igokea, and Buducnost VOLI topped Siroki Wwin at home.

Siroki Wwin vs. Radnicki

Siroki Wwin and Radnicki will close this week. Siroki Wwin at position 11, with 7-14 record will try to surprise Radnicki and keep chances to survive in ABA Adriatic league.

On the other side, Radnicki after win against Cibona in real drama in Kragujevac, two overtimes, with additional self-confidence and energy coming for new important win.

Radnicki at position 4 with 13-8 record is also step away from Final four, and this game could be that step. Even there are few more games to be played.
