ABA Adriatic league Game 2 brought several very interesting games as it was expected. As we already said that this season of ABA Adriatic league will be very interesting since first two teams will play Euroleague and third team will play Euroleague Qualifications.

We already wrote about another one defeat for Crvena Zvezda Diva as they lost against Zadar with 98-81 and dropped to 0-2 score.

Zadar improved to 1-1 score and I am sure that now they are especially sad about defeat in Belgrade against Partizan mt:s in Game 1.

Union Olimpija reached second win and improved to 2-0 score after they topped Split in Ljubljana. Olimpija seems to be in good form just days before start of Turkish Airlines Euroleague.

Split with this defeat dropped to 1-1 score. After great game in Game 1 when they wins over Crvena Zvezda Diva, Split played another one good game, but it wasn’t enough to surprise Union Olimpija.

Cedevita easily cruised over Radnicki Kragujevac and after not so good game in Game 1, it seems that they fixed tehir problems in game. Getting ready for start of Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Cedevita improved to 2-0 score.

Radnicki Kragujevac dropped to 0-2 score and beside Crvena Zvezda Diva, they are the biggest disappointments in first two games of ABA Adriatic league. These two teams are at the bottom of standings as 13th and 14 th teams.

Igokea reached second consecutive win as they wins over Buducnost VOLI and proved great form at the beginning of this season. With perfect score after two games they are one of positive surprises in this season.

Buducnost VOLI dropped to 0-2 score after this unexpected defeat against Igokea. Team of Coach Dejan Radonjic played well in Game 1 against Cedevita but had no enough concentration to win.

Partizan mt:s had no problems at all against Krka as they improved to score of 2-0 taking top place in ABA Adriatic league at this moment.

Krka dropped to 1-1 score and it is obvious that Krka won’t be bale to play against top teams in this competition.

Szolnoki Olaj as newcomer in ABA Adriatic league reached its first win as they wins over Cibona, and improved to 1-1 score.

Cibona also one of biggest disappointments dropped to 0-2 score and it will be interesting if they will make some cuts in next period. Coach Veljko Mrsic is one of the reasons for bad results according to many forums and discussion boards in Croatia.

And finally, if you ask me, the most positive surprise in this season in ABA Adriatic league, MZT Skopje, reached second consecutive win, as they downed Siroki 63-59. After two games, MZT Skopje have perfect score.

Siroki dropped to 0-2 score and they already made some cuts, as they canceled contract with Vedran Morovic after Game 1, and signed Karlo Vragovic yesterday. Not good start for Siroki, but hopefully they will get back on the tracks soon.

To summarize, expectedly good start of season for Partizan mt:s, Cedevita, Union Olimpija as three teams who will start competition in Turkish Airlines Euroleague in just few days.

At same time big disappointment especially for their fans as Crvena Zvezda Diva, Radnicki Kragujevac, Cibona and Buducnost VOLI had an terrible start.

Games of Game 3 in ABA Adriatic league will be played at Saturday, October 6, Sunday, October 7 and Monday, October 8.
