Here comes Game 18 in ABA Adriatic league. It is expected to be one of the most exciting weeks in this competition in this season.

We will enjoy in several interesting match-ups, and two great games, both may be called Game of the week.

This week in ABA Adriatic league will be played during two day. Today we have six games, and tomorrow, Sunday, January 20, only one game.

Zadar vs. Cibona

Croatian derby, but unfortunately we may also say, derby of teams from the bottom of ABA Adriatic league. Both teams in pretty bad situation, with identical terrible record 6-11.

Cibona had much changes in last week as several players left team, and they also had some changes in leading stuff.

Tomislav Zubcic agreed with the club to break the contract and later Dustin Ware and Henry William Parker too left the team.

Szolnoki vs. Radnicki

This will be interesting game, even Radnicki Kragujevac will play against the last team at this moment in ABA Adriatic league, Szolnoki Olaj.

Szolnoki with 4-13 record shouldn’t be tough opponent for Radnicki in this game, but we will see. Radnicki also had its ups and downs in this season and currently they have 9-8 record and hold position 5.

Great test for team of coach Miroslav Nikolic. If they succeed in this game, this will be big step forward to Final 4.

MZT Skopje vs. Split

One of not so interesting games in this week. MZT Skopje at this moment hold position 8, with 9-8 record. Split at position 10 with 7-10 record.

Since MZT Skopje play at home, I would say that they are favorites in this game, but you never know against Split.

Split proved many time in this season that they can surprise anyone even in a road games.

Igokea vs. Crvena Zvezda Telekom

This should be spectacle today. Game of the week definitely. Clash between leader and second positioned team in competition. Even with defeat, Igokea will remain as leader.

Tickets for this game are sold out and we expect really great game. Both teams won in last week, Igokea wins over Split in road game.

Crvena Zvezda Telekom demolished Cedevita at home 90-65 and proved its excellence. Too bad, they failed in Game 2 in Eurocup Last 16 just few days ago, when they lost against Galatasary Medical Park.

Cedevita vs. Union Olimpija

Another one great game. Match-up between two teams who played Turkish Airlines Euroleague in regular season but didn’t qualify for TOP 16. Both teams fight for position in ABA Adriatic league Final 4.

At this moment, Union Olimpija is at position 6, Cedevita at position 7, both with identical record 9-8.

After terrible defeat in last week against Crvena Zvezda Telekom, coaching staff and players were financially fined, and even Luksa Andric was sent to second team.

Partizan mt:s vs. Buducnost VOLI

Another game that could have title Game of the week. Clash between teams from 3rd and 4th position. Partizan mt:s at position 3 with 11-6 record.

Buducnost VOLI at position 4 with 10-7 record. I am sure that we can expect great game, and it will be interesting if home court will be enough for Partizan mt:s to succeed in this game.

Few days ago in Eurocup Last 16, Buducnost VOLI lost against Banvit Bandirma, and we will see if this game left any negative impact on players of Buducnost VOLI.

Krka vs. Siroki

The only game which will be played at Sunday, January 20. Krka at position 9 at this moment will host Siroki which hold position 12 with 6-11 record.

Siroki after they change coach, wins over Partizan mt:s in great game. Krka also won in last week, they were better than Cibona in road game.
