With game between Krka and Szolnoki Olaj, Game 1 of ABA Adriatic league has been completed. In this last game, Krka topped Szolnoki Olaj 71:56.

As it was expected, this season of ABA Adriatic league will bring as a lot of excitements and even in first week of competitions we saw great games, but as well as incidents on Basketball courts.

It seems that favorites are still not in top form, and we saw three surprises in Game 1, and I looking forward for more surprises in upcoming games.

Siroki lost against Igokea in opening game of ABA Adriatic league, and for the most of Basketball fans this was surprise. But, Igokea have pretty good roster, and I am sure that other teams will also have problems against them.

Siroki had pretty good last season, and it is expected that they will raise from game to game. Igokea won with 69-63.

Partizan mt:s and Zadar played not so interesting game in Belgrade and Partizan mt:s won with final score of 81-74. Even Zadar played better in the most of this game, second technical foul of Coach Dusko Vujosevic and incidents in Pionir Sport hall changed tempo of this game,

Zadar should be sad for this defeat, and Partizan mt:s had a great opportunity to learn a lot from this game.

Radnicki even created great roster for this season, lost against Union Olimpija in Home game. Big disappointment for Radnicki fans, but Union Olimpija deserved this win.

Somehow I believe that Radnicki underestimated Olimpija in this game, and it was fatal. Hopefully, we will see much better Radnicki in upcoming games.

Buducnost VOLI almost surprised Cedevita in Podgorica. Final score 78-74 for Cedevita which is one of the main favorites for this season title in ABA Adriatic league.

But, once again proved that if you underestimate your opponents you will be in a trouble. Coach Dejan Radonjic prepared his team great, and I must say that I am sad that Buducnost VOLI didn’t win in this game.

Maybe the best game in this week, as newcomers in ABA Adriatic league, MZT Skopje topped Cibona in Zagreb with final score of 77-72.

Great game for MZT Skopje, and I must say that I really enjoyed. MZT Skopje played great, with a lot of energy, and it is obvious that they will be tough opponent to other teams as well.

Split wins over Crvena Zvezda Diva with 87-81, and prepared another one surprise, as it was expected that Crvena Zvezda Diva with pretty expensive roster should reach its first win.

Split gave some free Basketball lessons to Crvena Zvezda Diva and proved once again that “it is not all about the money”.
