35 seconds shot clock

Isn’t that stupid? Just don’t understand why 35 seconds? It slows game so much. If you guys watch NCAA basketball, and thanks God there are so many NCAA basketball games these days (March Madness), you will easily realize that most of the teams uses 20-25 seconds.

On the other hand it could be even worst, if we remember that 45-second shot clock was introduced in NCAA men’s game in the 1985-1986 season.

For me, for such athletic teams and players as we have in NCAA this rule is very wrong. All we know that many of those talented players will continue their careers or in NBA or somewhere in Europe or around the world. Everywhere, 24 seconds shot clock. SO, that means that those guys will need some time to adjust, or maybe not?

From the coaches stand point, I can see a big problem if you need to keep a ball for 35 seconds, it is struggling to save the ball. Offensively, give me a break, who needs so much time. Usually, one or two screens, pick-and-roll or pick-and-pop and that’s it, 20 seconds maximum.

It would be good if we could have 24 seconds as a standard in all basketball competitions around the world.
