Tomorrow, Friday, February 24, 2012 NBA All-Star weekend will start. This great spectacle impatiently expected from fans all over the world will start as usual with Rising Stars Challenge.

As you know in this game the best rookies (players in their first NBA season) and Sophomores (players in their second NBA season) used to meet each other.

This time situation is bit different since two NBA legends, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal choose players for squads from draft pool.

As usual, I am sure that this game will bring a lot of excitements, attractive dunks, passes and all other types of NBA moves, since both teams are full of outstanding players and talents.

At Saturday, February 25, 2012 NBA All-Star weekend will bring us four competitions and present of of the best NBA stars at this moment.

The Haier Shooting Stars competition will bring NBA and WNBA Players and NBA Legends as well in a interesting shooting contest.

After that, top NBA guard will demonstrate their skills against the clock in Skills Challenge. As you probably know, in this competition, they will present their skills in passing, free-throws, lay-ups and some agility drills.

In The Foot Locker Three-Point Contest we will see the best long-range NBA shooters, in 3 points shooting competition. Six players will try to score as many as possible points from 3 points line.

In this competition, we will see following contestants: James Jones Miami Heat, Mario Chalmers Miami Heat, Ryan Anderson Orlando Magic, Anthony Morrow New Jersey Nets, Kevin Love Minnesota Timberwolves and Joe Johnson Atlanta Hawks.

Finally, maybe one of the most attractive competitions in All-Stars Weekend, the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. This year we will see: Chase Budinger Houston Rockets, Paul George Indiana Pacers, Jeremy Evans Utah Jazz and Derrick Williams Minnesota Timberwolves.

At Sunday, February 26, of course, 2012 NBA All-Star game, one of the biggest spectacles around the world.
