First of all, I would like to congratulate to Mapooro Cantu for winning Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying round and reached last ticket to Euroleague regular season.

In Final game, Mapooro Cantu wins over Le Mans Sarthe Basket with final score of 80-66. Too bad that two teams couldn’t be qualified to Euroleague because I believe that Le Mans also deserved to play Euroleague this season.

Leunen paced the Cantu attack with 15 points with just 1 missed shot. Pietro Aradori added 12 points and 4 assists, Marco Cusin scored 11 and Manu Markoshvili 10. J.P. Batista led Le Mans with 15 points and Cuthbert Victor scored 12.

Even most of us expected to see Unics Kazan in Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Mapooro Cantu surprised most of us and will play in top competition.

I must be honest and say that Le Mans Sarthe Basket did outstanding job as they wins over two great teams, BC Donetsk and Unics Kazan, and helped to Mapooro Cantu a lot.
