Timberwolves lose 111-105 (OT) at Utah, despite Pekovic 20 points
Good game in Salt Lake City last night as Utah Jazz defeated Minnesota Timberwolves 111:105 after overtime. Nikola Pekovic played another one good game, he scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
Nikola Pekovic spent 36 and a half minutes on the court, had 7/12 from the field. Kevin Love scored 25 points and grabber 16 rebounds for another one double-double score.
Gordon Hayward led Utah Jazz with 26 points, and he scored 18 points in last quarter and overtime. Devin Harris scored 18 points and Paul Millsap added 16 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high eight steals.
After game, Kevin Love said: “We just couldn’t get a rebound when it mattered, we played them tough, they played tough, but they prevailed in the end because they made the plays.”
Love played the final quarter with his thumb taped, and he said that he was scared that he broke that thumb again, since he had problems with it several times.
Hopefully, everything will be fine with Love, he missed few games because he was ill and had some back spasms.
Darko Milicic played 0 minutes, and that’s what I said at the beginning of the season, that Pekovic just need a chance and after that, Milicic just can make himself feel comfortable on the bench.
