In fantastic atmosphere in Moraca hall in Podgorica, Montenegro, Buducnost beat Partizan mts: in Game 10 of ABA Adriatic league.

Can’t remember that Moraca hall was so crowded like today. Domestic fans, but at same time a lot of Partizan mt:s fans as well, created fantastic atmosphere in “Game of the week”.

Buducnost won by 76:68 (17:17, 22:16, 18:20, 19:15).

This was last game for Nikola Pekovic in Black and White jersey, since he is traveling to United States at Tuesday, but he wanted to play in today’s game and help his teammates. Unfortunately, Pekovic will remember last game in black and white jersey as loss.

On the other side, it is still unclear if Nikola Vucevic will play another one game for Buducnost at Tuesday in Eurocup, when Buducnost will host Dexia Mons.

I must say once again, too bad that NBA lockout is ended since we will lose two dominant players in ABA Adriatic league, beside Sofoklis Schortsanitis two best centers.

It will be very interesting to see how both teams, Partizan mt:s and Buducnost will play in next games without those two players.

In today’s game for Buducnost, Marko Popovic scored 13 points, Bojan Krstovic added 12 points and Nikola Vucevic 11 points and 7 rebounds.

For Partizan mt:s, Dragan Milosavljevic scored 17 points with great performance, Nikola Pekovic and Vladimir Lucic added 12 points each.

Buducnost dominated in rebounds, 36:21, which is pretty unusual for Partizan mt:s, since they are team who mostly dominate in every game in total rebounds score.

This could be one of the keys for Buducnost’ success in this game. Good defense, rebounding, and big motivation to beat Partizan at home.

I must say that I am bit worried for next game in Turksih Airlines Euroleague for Partizan. Pekovic is out, Acie Law it seems he still doesn’t feel ready after that injury days ago. This loss should be warning and I hope so that coaches will analyze this situation and prepare team for coming games.
