2012 NBA All-Star weekend began last night witk NBA Rising Stars Challenge where team of Charles Barkley beat team of Shaquille O’Neal.

As we wrote two days ago, this year Rookies and Sophomores didn’t play against each other. NBA legends, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal choose players for its teams.

As it was expected, attractive game with little or better say no defenses at all, with a lot of attractive moves and high score 146:133 for team Chuck at the end of game.

Kyrie Irving has been chosen for MVP of this game, with great appearance and scored game-high 34 points. Irving is also one of candidates for “Rookie of the year” award.

“Play of the game” was pass from Ricky Rubio for Alley-oop for Blake Griffin.

Tonight, spectacle will continue with four competitions: Shooting Stars Competition, Slam Dunk Contest, Three-Point Shootout and Skills Challenge.

I am sure that we will enjoy tonight in more excitements, especially in Three-Points Shootout and finally Slam Dunk Contest.
