One of the best and most successful Serbian coaches is back to Serbia.

Svetislav “Kari” Pesic is new head coach of “New” Crvena Zvezda Belgrade.

Why I am saying “New” Crvena Zvezda. Crvena Zvezda and FMP Zeleznik make an fusion and those two teams from this season will be one team.

For the most of Basketball fans in Serbia this is good news same as comeback of Svetislav Pesic. Crvena Zvezda had a pretty bad and probably the worst season in several years. With this fusion, things should be much better. Plans are big, so we will see what will happen. It is good for Serbian Basketball to have strong Crvena Zvezda beside Partizan, Radnicki, Hemofarm…

Let’s get back to Svetislav Pesic. When I heard first time about this possibility I said that it is impossible. He had great season in Spain and rumors said that he could be new Real Madrid coach. Beside of all great offers, he accepted to come to Crvena Zvezda Belgrade. For me, this is big surprise, but however I am glad.
