What a big disappointment for all fans of Crvena Zvezda Telekom as Siroki wins in great game in Game 24 in ABA Adriatic league.

Crvena Zvezda Telekom came as big favorite and it was expected that we will watch quite boring game and easy win for Red and whites.

But, Siroki was pretty motivated to try to win and make big step in their efforts to save place in ABA Adriatic league in next season.

Crvena Zvezda Telekom had plans to win and attack first position and try to qualify directly to Euroleague in next season as winners of ABA Adriatic league regular season.

As I said thay HAD plans, now all these plans just disappeared, as they dropped to 17-7 record, as Igokea remained at the top of standings with 18-6 record.

Siroki improved to 8-16 record, and will need to invest more efforts in next two game to be safe for the next season.

Marko Sutalo led Siroki with 21 points, and once again proved itself as real leader of this team. Zeljko Sakic scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, Johnathon Jones added 12 points.

In Crvena Zvezda Telekom, Igor Rakocevic scored 15 points, Boris Savovic scored 14 points and Michael Scott added 11 points.

If I have to blame someone, I would blame Coach Vlada Vukoicic for this defeat. It was terrible how his team played in some moments and unacceptable for team who have such a high goals.

It is sad, that he couldn’t motivate its players for this important game, to rise their motivation and self-confidence.

However, Congratulations to Siroki, and hopefully they will survive this season in ABA Adriatic league.
