U20 National team of Serbia reached another great win, as they topped Latvia 74:65 in Quarterfinal game and qualified to Semifinals.

Players of Coach Aleksandar Dzikic played another one great game, and will meet Lithuania in Semifinal, tomorrow at 18.00 CET.

It wasn’t an easy game for Serbian National team, and much tougher than it was actually expected, Serbian young players won in this game against Latvia.

Coach Aleksandar Dzikic commented after game: “We won this game on the same way like all other games in Championship, with strong defense and togetherness in offense situations.”

He continues: “If we talk about next opponent, Lithuania, they trying to play fast Basketball, with a lot of pick-and-rolls and with good rebound.”

No doubt that Serbia will have tough goal tomorrow against Lithuania and I hope so that they have learned something from today’s game against Latvia.

Serbia must be proud on these young players as they prove from game to game, that in the close future some of them could be the main players in Senior National team.

Too bad that it is almost impossible to watch this great competition on TV, since there are no broadcasts on any TV channels available in Europe, or at least as far as we know.

In other Quarterfinal games, Lithuania demolishes Greece 79:43, Spain devastated Germany 73:47 and France topped Slovenia 77:54.
