Quite unexpected, Partizan mt:s lost in Ljubljana against Union Olimpija in Game 24 of ABA Adriatic league. Union Olimpija wins 70:57 (22:16, 13:13, 21:12, 14:16) at front of about 4.500 fans.

Not good game for Partizan mt:s, despite Dominic James played since he was injured few days ago, Black and whites didn’t play as their coach expected.

After game, coach Vlade Jovanovic said that Union Olimpija played more aggressive and they were much more motivated in this game.

Huuh, as always I would like to ask Vlade Jovanovic, why his team were not more motivated? Who should motivate his team?

Even this defeat doesn’t mean much, especially if it is part of some preparing period for Serbian Super league and ABA Adriatic league Final 4 in Tel Aviv.

Union Olimpija had even +15 in the middle of third quarter. Black and whites had only -4, seven minutes before end of game, but that was all.

Pretty unexpected, Union Olimpija dominated Partizan mt:s in rebounds. Union Olimpija had 36 rebounds, 20 in defense, and even 16 offensively rebounds. Comparing to only 22 rebounds from Partizan mt:s, 16 in defense and only 6 in offense.

Union Olimpija had 50% for 3-point, 12/24, Partizan mt:s 1/8 (12.5%). It seems that Union Olimpija had good motivation since they trying to have enough points to play Euroleague in next season.

For Union Olimpija, Goran Jeretin scored 15 points, Sasu Salin added 14 points and Deon Thompson had 12 points and 7 rebounds.

For Partizan mt:s, Dominic James scored 16 points and had 3 assists, Rasko Katic and Miroslav Raduljica scored 11 points each.
