We have first finalist of 2011 Turkish Airlines Euroleague. In very exciting game Panathinaikos beat Montepaschi Siena and qualified to final game.

Their opponents will be know in about 3 hours when Maccabi Electra and Real Madrid finish semifinal game 2.

Well crowded Arena in Barcelona with few thousand of Panathinakos fans. They gave a great support to Panathinaikos players during whole game.

I believe that most of expected that Panathinaikos will beat Montepaschi, but Montepaschi really played good and with little more luck they could win. Coach Pianigiani is probably not satsfied with this game, but I believe that it is maximum for this team of Montepaschi Siena.

First, no one believed that they can even reach Final 4, but they proved their quality and against Olympicaos they earned opportunity to play in Final 4.

Panathinaikos played better in this game. Good defense, good inside play. As we coaches used to say, it was real “Men’s” game. Hard, with lot of contact, but fair.

Coach Zeljko Obradovic who chasing his 8th Euroleague title must be satisfied with this game and win. His players played well, and I am sure that they still have enough energy to win Euroleague title. We will see.

Congratulations to Panathinaikos and now we will see who will join them in final game.
