Olimpija joined Partizan in final

Now we have both participants for Thursdays final game for Adriatic NLB league champion.

In second semifinal game, Olimpija Ljubljana downed Krka Novo Mesto 67:57.

Very interesting game, for me better than first semifinal game between Partizan and Buducnost. Tactically better game, with good defenses, and strong physically in offense.

I must say that I was hoping that Krka might beat Olimpija and play with Partizan in final game. That would be a clash of two ex assistant coaches of my favorite coach Dusko Vujosevic. Both coaches, Aleksandar Djikic and Vlada Jovanovic worked with Vujosevic in some period of Vujosevic’s time in Partizan.

Stozice Arena was well crowded on this second game today, but not as I expected for this final four. I am still sure that it would be much better if this final four been arranged in Belgrade Arena.

For Olimpija, Saso Ozbolt scored 19 points and Goran Jagodnik and Gregory Kendrick added 11 each. For Krka, Dragic scored 13 and Smiljan Pavic 10.

Looking forward for Thursday when we will see final game between Partizan mt:s Belgrade and Olimpija Ljubljana.
