Bosnian Basketball today is not on high level, unfortunately. But, one guy, one Basketball player shine as the brightest star on Turkish Airlines Euroleague sky.

His name is Mirza Teletovic, and yes, he is Bosnian, or better say, mighty Bosnian.

His team Caja Laboral is still undefeated after 3 games played in Turkish Airlines Euroleague. One of the reason for sure is Mirza Teletovic.

After 3 games he is top scorer of Turkish Airlines Euroleague with 21,67 points per game.

Mirza Teletovic was born September 17, 1985 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He started to play Basketball in BC Sloboda Tuzla where he played from 2002 – 2005. After Sloboda Tuzla he played for Base Oostende Belgium in season 2005 – 2006.

Since 2006 Teletovic play in Spain for Caja Laboral.

During his career he earned several awards and we will mention following: MVP of the Copa del Rey in Spain 2009 and Spanish League Rising Star Award.

Let’s get back to this season of Turkish Airlines Euroleague. In game 1, Caja Laboral played away game vs. Fenerbahce Ulker. Caja Laboral won 66:69, and Mirza Teletovic scored 23 points and added 6 rebounds.

In game 2, Caja Laboral hosted Bennet Cantu and won again, this time with 81:69. Mirza Teletovic led his team with 22 points.

Game 3, in exciting game Caja Laboral beat Olympiacos 81:79. Mirza Teletovic led his team once again with 20 points and 5 rebounds.
