In first Semifinal game of Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying rounds, Mapooro Cantu wins over CEZ Basketball Nymburk 89-83.

In quite interesting game, Italian team wins and qualified to Finals and will play against Le Mans Sarthe Basket for spot in Turkish Airlines Euroleague.

Pietro Aradori led all scorers with 19 points, Jerry Smith added 16 points and 5 assists and Jeff Brooks scored 13 off the bench for the winners.

Mike Taylor and A.J. Abrams led Nymburk with 16 points apiece, Lukas Palyza netted 13 and Christos Tapoutos and Drew Naymick scored 12 each in defeat.

In second Semifinal game tonight,  unexpectedly Le Mans Sarthe Basket wins over Unics Kazan.

After first 20 minutes Le Mans had +4, 42-38. Much better game for Le Mans in first half. With fantastic 3-pointer from Terrell Lyday, Unics Kazan came to +3 after third quarter, 61-58.

Last few minutes was pretty nervous, and Le Mans had more patience and they deserved this win, no doubt. This is big surprise since most of Basketball fans expected that Unics Kazan won’t have much problems to reach place in Turkish Airlines Euroleague.

86-78 for Le Mans. Unbelievable, big surprise, but I must say that Le Mans played great during whole game.

So, tomorrow, at 20.30 CET, Final game between Mapooro Cantu and Le Mans Sarthe Basket for one place in Turkish Airlines Euroleague.
