In very good game last night in Skopje, Igokea wins over MZT Skopje and remained safe at the top of standings in ABA Adriatic league.

After this win, Igokea improved to 17-5 record, and MZT Skopje dropped to position 8 with 11-11 record.

Both teams played well, with ups and downs on both sides, especially on side of Igokea. It is just unbelieveble that they oscilate so much in game.

Corsley Edwards led Igokea with 20 points, Branko Jorovic scored 16 points. In great role, Filip Adamovic scored 13 points and Nebojsa Joksimovic added 11 points.

Great game for Corsley Edwards, I must say finally, after he didn’t play well in last several games, or better say after he recovered after injury.

Edwards dominated in one-on-one plays. It is good for Igokea, if he coming back in his form, as he could be the most important link in upcoming games.

In MZT Skopje, Todor Gecevski scored 21 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, Boris Bakic scored 14 points. Nikola Otasevic scored 13 points and Damjan Stojanovski added 11 points.

MZT Skopje bested Igokea in rebounds 28-23, and they also had better percantage for 2-point 60.6 % compared to Igokea 42.9 %.

As we coming closer to the end of Regular season in ABA Adriatic league, things getting more and more interesting. It will be interesting to see if Igokea will remain at the first place and earn a ticket to Euroleague in next season.
