Game 3 of 2012-13 Eurocup Last 16
With only one game today, action in Eurocup Last 16 phase will continue. Seven more games will be played tomorrow, Wednesday, January 23.
The week’s action begins with one of those fixtures. Galatasaray Medical Park hosts Ratiopharm Ulm on Tuesday at 19:15 CET live on Eurosport 2.
Even we are the midway point, it is still unclear a lot of things in this Last 16 phase. If we take a look at the standings we will see interesting situation.
Especially in Group L, where all four teams have identical 1-1 record. This situation is great for all Basketball fans, since we will enjoy in Last 16 contest till the last second.
Group L action will conclude before most others start. Unics Kazan welcomes Crvena Zvezda Telekom in Wednesday’s first tip off at 16:00 CET.
Not sure if this game is Game of the week, but for me it is. As I already stated in this competition, Crvena Zvezda Telekom is my favorite team.
After great start in Game 1 as they topped Ratiopharm Ulm 100-95 in road game, Crvena Zvezda Telekom failed in efforts to beat Galatasaray Medical Park in Game 2.
In this game, obviously under big pressure caused partially with great atmosphere in their own Arena, Crvena Zvezda Telekom played under expectations and lost 91-74.
We will see tomorrow if they had enough time to recover, especially since they were defeated in Game 18 in ABA Adriatic league against leader, Igokea.
