No one could imagine better start for Crvena Zvezda Diva in Game 1 in Eurocup Regular Season. Last night in crowded Pionir Sport hall, Crvena Zvezda Diva demolished Orleans Loiret with 93-73.

In fantastic atmosphere created by Crvena Zvezda Diva fans, Red and whites played very good on very high professional level.

Well organized and controlled offense in the most of game, strong rebound and full domination in rebounds, brought this first and very important win for Crvena Zvezda Diva.

Orleans Loiret even with several good American players, couldn’t stop Crvena Zvezda Diva, and at the beginning it was obvious that Red and whites are very serious.

Coach Vlada Vukoicic may be very satisfied with this game and with performance of most of his players on this game.

Of course, there are always things to be improved, and I really hope so that we will see Crvena Zvezda Diva even better in upcoming games in Eurocup.

Even they didn’t start well this season in ABA Adriatic league, it seems that their form is going up, that some of players finally understood what is their role in this team.

Michael Scott, who just came few days ago, led Crvena Zvezda Diva with great performance as he scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.

His role was important, but as well his ability to create atmosphere in the game. Igor Rakocevic scored 19 points, and Boris Savovic scored 18 points and added 9 rebounds.

In Orleans Loiret, Caleb Green scored 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Jahmar Young who played for Crvena Zvezda Diva few seasons ago, scored 14 points and added 5 assists.

Crvena Zvezda Diva had 45 rebounds comparing to only 21 of Orleans Loiret it is obvious how superbly Red and whites dominated under baskets.

This game should be an great stimulation for Crvena Zvezda Diva as they expect very important game in ABA Adriatic league at Sunday, against Partizan mt:s.

This will be Game of the week, and Serbian derby, game which is always so important to both teams because of prestige.
