Even injured Nikola Pekovic had double-double
Minnesota Timberwolves beat Utah Jazz last night as Luke Ridnour scored buzzer-beater. In last quarter Wolves outscored Utah 36-21.
J.J. Barea scored 17 points, Luke Ridnour added 11 points. The most important that Nikola Pekovic back from ankle injury had another double-double.
Pekovic scored 15 points and added 12 rebounds. So, it became obvious that you can’t stop Pac-Man, even injured.
This game was really amazing since Minnesota were down for 16 points in last quarter. It seems that Rick Adelman made real winners from these guys.
For Utah Jazz, Paul Millsap scored 25 points and Josh Howard added 19, his season-high.
With this win, The Wolves enter the All-Star break at .500 or better for the first time since the 2004-05 season.
