Euroleague Women Final Eight Day 2

Four games played today in Euroleague Women Final Eight Day 2. For some, pretty expected results, for some sort of surprise.

In first game today, Bourges surprised Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje 71-64 in very good game. Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje suffered loss of Rebekka Hammon with hamstring injury.

Celine Dumerc led Bourges with 21 points and six assists. Endene Miyem and Marissa Coleman scored 16 points each.

Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje, Seimone Augustus scored 19 points, Candice Dupree scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.

With this game, both teams have identical score in Final eight stage, 1-1.

In second game today, Fenerbahce demolished Famila Schio 86-59 in real presentation of power and full domination of Fenerbahce players.

Angel Mccoughtry led Fenerbahce with 15 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Cappie Pondexter scored 14 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Ivana Matovic added 13 points and 8 rebounds.

In Famila Schio, in great role, Jantel Lavender reached double-double as she scored 22 points and grabbed 13 points. Danielle Mc Cray scored 8 points, and Giorgia Sottana added 6 points and 4 assists.

Famila Schio dropped to 0-2 record and Fenerbahce improved to 2-0 record in Final eight.

In third game today, UMMC Ekaterinburg gave some free lessons to Good Angels Kosice and topped them with 72-41.

Anete Jekabsone led UMMC Ekaterinburg with 14 points and 3 assists. Diana Taurasi scored 13 points, 5 assists and 3 steals. Sandrine Gruda and Candace Parker added 11 points each. Parker had double-double as she also added 13 rebounds.

UMMC Ekaterineburg improved to 2-0 record, and Good Angels Kosice dropped to 1-1 record in Final eight.

In last game today, CCC Polkowice wins over Galatasaray 58-51 and prepared another one surprise I would say.

Nnemkadi Ogwumike led CCC Polkowice with double-double score, as she scored 21 points and 12 rebounds. Belinda Snell scored 16 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

After this game, CCC Polkowice improved to 1-1 record, and Galatasaray dropped to 0-2 record and lost chances to play in Semifinals.
