Crvena Zvezda Telekom bolstered its frontcourt by signing 216 cm tall Predrag Samardziski, member of National team of F.Y.R. of Macedonia. He signed contact until the end of season.

Predrag Samardziski came from Lithuania as he played for Lietuvos Rytas, where he averaged 5.7 points and 3.5 rebounds in 25 games.

In his career, Samardziski played for Partizan mt:s, FMP, Olin Edirne in Turkey and Lietuvos Rytas.

This could be a good move for Crvena Zvezda Telekom as they came in small crisis in last few games, after three consecutive losses, 2 in Last 16 phase in Eurocup and 1 in ABA Adriatic league.

After great start in Last 16 in Eurocup when they topped Ratiopharm Ulm in road game, Crvena Zvezda Telekom lost other two games, against Galatasaray Medical Park and Unics Kazan.

Despite these problems, in Crvena Zvezda Telekom still have high goals in this season in all competition, Eurocup, ABA Adriatic league, Serbian league and Serbian National Cup.

Experience of Predrag Samardziski could play great role for Red and whites and it will be inetersting to see how fast he will adjust to new team, coach, teammates.

It is expected that Predrag Samardziski play its first game in Red and white jersey at Wednesday, January 30, in Game 4 in Last 16 phase in Eurocup against Unics Kazan at home.

This game is very important for Crvena Zvezda Telekom, in case of defeat, their chances to play in next round are minimal.
