As we wrote today about rumors that Unicaja is interested in Svetislav Pesic, coach of Crvena Zvezda Diva and coach of German National team. It seems that it was not only rumors.

According to statement of Nebojsa Covic, president of Crvena Zvezda Diva, some agents contacted Crvena Zvezda Diva according to Unicaja interest for coach Svetislav Pesic,

Nebojsa Covic also said that Crvena Zvezda Diva and Svetislav Pesic have multi-year contract and goal to build modern Basketball system in Crvena Zvezda Diva.

He continues: “All other rumors and informations regarding this will be irrelevant. I just may suggest all other teams that we in Serbia, have other great Basketball coaches.”

I must agree with Covic with this statement. Definitely, Serbia is one of countries with the best Basketball coaches in the world. It would be interested to summarize all successes of Serbian coaches.

Nebojsa Covic also talked about agreement between Crvena Zvezda Diva and Svetislav Pesic, that he may coach German National team in next period. According to his statement, Svetislav Pesic may coach German National team until the end of European Championship qualifications, actually, until September 11, 2012.

I am not quite sure about this, but if Nebojsa Covic said this as president of Crvena Zvezda Diva, than it should be true.

I believed that Svetislav Pesic agreed long-term collaboration with German National team.
