According to large number of Serbian sources, Svetislav Pesic is not Coach of Crvena Zvezda Diva anymore.

Nebojsa Covic, president of Crvena Zvezda Diva, said on press conference that Svetislav Pesic will not coach team anymore.

But, there is a strange thing according to sources that Svetislav Pesic will remain as adviser, as Milivoje Lazic will take over as Head coach, and Milan Gurovic as Assistant coach.

If you ask me, it is still pretty unclear how Pesic will advise new coaches, since I believe that he will not stay in Belgrade, or maybe I am wrong.

I am not quite sure that Milivoje Lazic ex Assistant coach to Svetislav Pesic is good solution at this moment.

Milan Gurovic was a legend but only as a player, he had no any coaching experience and it will be interesting how his playing experience will help him as a coach.

So, this saga is finally over, even there are still unclear details but I believe that everything will be known pretty soon.

I will say once again that it is bad for Serbian basketball that Pesic will not coach Crvena Zvezda Diva, but it is over and have no sense to talk about it anymore.

It is key question now to see who will stay in club, since most of players were waiting to see who will be coach. It is also questionable if new players will come since Svetislav Pesic decided to go.
